Sun Life has partnered with the Plug and Play Tech Center, a startup accelerator in the Bay Area, which recently launched an insurance focus. As part of the insurance vertical program, Sun Life will provide mentorship and business development support to help startips develop a working prototype. At the end of the 12 week program, the companies pitch their ideas to investors and insurance executives at Plug and Play's EXPO. The program is slated to begin at the end of August.
